De-actify To Overcome laziness
At least one time in our lives we might have experienced laziness. It is when you got up one fine morning and find yourself recoiling back to sleep and felt a disinclination of getting up to go to work, office or to any activity despite having the ability to do so. Idleness can be a symptom of psychological imbalance and you may be suffering from depression. At other times laziness happens when our immune system fights an infection. Whatever the causes are, sluggishness is a major factor in lowering productivity. It is an obstacle for an enriched life. It is high time we understand the type of laziness that encroach into our goals and objectives in order to prevent it to ensure a vibrant active life.
A life full of energy is what I meant by a vibrant life. We are not the same person in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening. It is because our energy level is drained at the specific time daily.
Morning blues are common among many. It is the time when the body comes to ‘iife’ after its ‘death’.
Keep Notes: Place your notes that you have prepared during the night on the things to do during the day; what do you need to prepare for today’s meeting; what need to be said to the client; how do I motivate my team to come early for work and so on. You can write it in a piece of paper or store it in your mobile phone. So when your alarm goes off you will read the positive notes rather than thinking about your chattering mind has to say
Energise Your Body: It is crucial that you need to give energy to your body. Mix some honey with warm water and sip slowly after you get up from sleep. Honey gives glucose to your body for energy and it can replenish the dopamine chemicals to make your mind fresh again.
Clear your digestive system: It is a must that you clear your digestive system the very morning before you proceed to your daily activity. By not doing this can affect your focus and make you sluggish.
Punch Cards: Reach early to your workplace so that you can do extra planning for the day. If you do not have punch cards in office tell your office administrator to install one. Punctuality puts your brain on a positive note and makes you move quickly from home rather than day dreaming.
Happy working environment: A happy working environment is what everyone look forward for. If it is enjoyable to meet your colleague the very next morining you will not feel lazy to meet them again and again. It is in your own hands to make your colleague like you.
Afternoon is the time many of us feel the tide of laziness rising up ; these are the things you can do to prevent it.
Gluttony is bad: Do not indulge in heavy hunch. Divide your stomach three thirds and fill 1/3 with food and 1/3 with water. Leave out the other 1/3 emtpy.
Clean your teeth: Brushing your teeth after food helps to freshen up your self and remove bacteria from food remains in your mouth. Use a mouthwash to remove any phlegm and you will sound audible and dynamic. Oral hygiene can makes you an active and confident person.
Chit Chat: Make your self free to chat with your colleague and get to knw them at a deeper level. Laziness sets in if you have nothing to do for the rest of the day. You can also do online chatting with your cypber friends to push the drowsiness away. Twitter is a popular micro blogging platform to ward off that afternoon laziness.
Take a nap: Taking a nap for at least 30 minutes will definitely charge you up for the rest of the day.
