Heavenly Tips On How To Burn Off Ugly Flabs Fast In 30 Days- Real Life Memorandum

Last week it had been a greatest joy in my lifetime : It was the begining of fasting month for the Muslim world and I had found a viable idea. Being in the fold of Islam, I was very elated that I have 30 days of opportunity to fight my flabs. Fasting to Muslims mean to abstain from food and drink from dawn to dusk. So I thought of how I can make this year different from my previous years of fasting.

The fasting period will last at least a month starting from 22 August 2009. The first day was on Saturday. I took time off from work and started thinking about how can I make full use of this holy month. The body that was given by God is cleansed during this period. We go without food and water for at least more than 12 hours a day. God is giving a yearly option for mankind to stay cleansed spiritually and lean physically.

Do you know 10 kg of extra weight is the equivalent of 320000 KJ? My Body Mass Index (BMI) is 35 and I am considered an obese for now. I need to lose at least 27 kg for the right BMI which is 24.999. What shall I do?

Fasting For The Right Weight

Every fasting month the Heaven showed me the way to burn off ugly flabs. August 22nd was one of the many options. This time my mind thought it right. :)

Older people tend to get fatter because they are not converting calories to energy. Meaning they shun physical activity. Younger people tend to be obese because they over eat – input more and output less. To increase your metabolism you just need to do a physical activity to suit your lifestyle. Just remember the following data :

In my case I need to convert 1183 of calories per day for the next 2 years. That will be great! But how can I burn off 27 kg for the next 30 days – this is my greatest challenge.

Idea

Some good guy told me not drive to work and try walking after seeing my ‘humpty dumpty’ body mass :) Well in life there are two kinds of people : one is Mr laurel and the other is Mr Hardy. This idea of walking to work tickled my mind on the eve of the fasting month.

I noticed that there is quite a distance from my train station to my office. It is about 4 kilometers. A brisk walk of 13 minutes will slice off around 500 KJ of calories and it takes at least 50 minutes to reach my office on foot. In other words, I should shed around 2000 KJ per day. Can this happen?

Preparation

You need to follow 2 important rules for this challenge :

  • Choose the correct pair of shoes. You need a pair of wider shoes if you have wider feet and it has to be a walking shoe. By this you can prevent the pressure of walking which can easily affect your goal.
  • No matter what you have to follow this routine of walking every day until the 30th day

Action

  • Day 1 – I walked from my home to the nearby train station which is around 600 meters for about 7 minutes. After I had reached the train interchange I walk to my office on foot. It tok me 50 minutes exactly. It was a little tiring without food and water.
  • Day 2 – It was drizzling in the morning. So I took a bus to the nearby train station and alighted at the train interchange. I boarded the bus to reach my office. In the evening the day was clear. After my work , I walked back to the train interchange. The second day was not tiring. I think my body is getting adjusted to my stubborn pursuit of reaching my goal.
  • Day 3 – same as day 2
  • Day 4 – same as day 2
  • Day 5 – my colleague is kind enough to give me a lift back home from office. I remembered my second commandments of the rules to this challenge – NO MATTER WHAT YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THIS ROUTINE WALK EVERYDAY UNTIL THE 30TH DAY! I walked again back from office to the train interchange.

Action Plan For Readers

  • Fast from dawn to dusk ( read further what I eat at dawn and dusk below)
  • If your driving to work park your vehicle at least a 4 kilometers away from the place you work and START WALKING TO WORK
  • sell away your car and switch to public transportation and start walking to work(or walk from office to home)
  • If you are taking the public transportation then get alighted 4 kilometers away from your work place ( or walk home from work)
  • JUST WALK 4 KILOMETERS A DAY AND FAST FOR 30 DAYS

What To Eat At Dawn And Dusk?

  • Before dawn – 3 fresh dates with half glass of milk mixed with oats.
  • During breakfast – Eat anything you like but cut down intake of fatty food. A tablespoon of oil is 500 KJ of calories. Eat rice a little with some side dishes and do not overeat. Take water and do not take soft drinks.

Testing The Result

Get a Bath Scale first. My wife is very concious of her weight so she had already got the bath scale at the nearby shop.

To my astonishment, I dropped around 2 kilogram of weight. Will I burn off 12 kg at the end of 30 days? Can I attain my acceptable BMI at the end of the 30 days challenge? I will give you an update on this article on another weeks’ time.
