Why I like to vote a leader? This morning I went to my polling station to vote in the general election in Singapore.I am one among the 2.2 million voters who are eligible to vote. This time round the general election competitive face has a different complexion altogether.This is how I feel today.

• It gives me a fresh day to achieve something simple
• I see lots of people of my neighborhood  gathering in one place
• I feel like it is a celebration day – a day for all
• It’s a holiday
• It is an easy job
• It takes a very little of my time and I love that
• I am greeted and welcomed at the polling station spontaneously
• The people at the polling station treat me like a VIP –ushering me politely and with smiling faces
• I am doing a common thing – others doing it too
• I do something and I do not get any bad comments
• I don’t get criticized for what I do
• I feel good if given a choice
• I feel like a king once in my life
• I feel like I’m on top of the world
• I feel good to ‘kill the king”
