They became more responsive, responsible and helpful.
One of the major reasons of dropping out of a company within a short period mostly comes from ineffective bonding with the staff or colleagues. Job-hopping can be prevented if managers help to track employees who lack this energy. Job satisfaction directly linked to how happy you are with your colleagues.
If you are an employee, remember that going on to a greener pasture is actually a mirage that you have created as you missed the real reason behind your decision. It is not more pay elsewhere. It is a hope that you can find happiness at workplace.
A lethargic personality does not attract people
Human bonding is the process of a development of a close, interpersonal relationship. The unhappiness in your current work environment has resulted directly from your lack of energy with your colleague. You are not engaging with them simply because you do not have the energy. I meant real energy. Every one of us needs attention. If you do not have that energy to be responsive, how do you expect others to respond to you? This tick for tack attitude will draw you into the whirlpool of inactive and unhappiness. It is time for you to boost your energy level and actify frictionless bonding with colleagues!
Brain
All that energy within us directly related to on how energetic your brain is. Although the human brain represents 2 per cent of the body weight, it utilizes 25 per cent of the glucose from the body. Glucose is the fuel needed for the brain. Brain metabolism is dependent on blood glucose. Therefore, it is necessary to know what to eat and when to eat.
We know that food can be in the form of simple carbohydrates and complex carbohydrates. Easily digestible foods considered as simple and foods that take time to digest are complex carbohydrates. Easily digestible foods are high in glycaemic index. These foods converted into blood sugars, which affects the brain metabolism directly.
So how do you influence blood glucose?
Meals
Food is eliminated from the body after 24 hours. The morning flush in your toilet is yesterdays’ food. The fast we had overnight for about 8 or 9 hours is broken in the morning meal – breakfast. I usually start the day by mixing honey in warm water before I hit the toilet. This will also allow glucose to assimilate in the blood system.
The breakfast you take has to be easily digestible to turn into blood glucose for the brain to use. A piece of banana, papaya or dates with bread is a better form of breakfast if you want that mental alertness in the morning. Skipping lunch is not a good idea, as you need a couple of hours to spend at work with your colleague. Do not eat any food cooked in oil as it has lower in glycaemic index – it will take longer hours to break into glucose.
I usually eat some raisin breads and flush them with water. I am avoiding rice as it makes me drowsy and lethargic. I keep some dates with me in my office to boost up energy. During your snack time, ensure that you snack “all” sugar and avoid anything sour or salty.
Glucose tablet
Every time whenever you are engaged with your colleague, keep a packet of glucose tablet in your office. To get an immediate boost in your energy level, pop in the glucose as you engage with your staff. Your alertness influences how you converse them. The mental alertness also affects your problem solution and interaction with them in a positive way. They will find you that you are engaging and interested.
Influencing colleagues apart from anything else is to have that energy within you to get along with them. Laziness and lethargy affects your mood and your behaviour. They demonstrate that you are simply “not bothered” with them.
Try this out and tell me how you faired with your colleagues. If your too weak to write out a comment try glucose tablets boost up your energy levels.
