Why woman lives longer than man? Across the industralized countried, generally women live 5 to 10 years longer than man. Among people over 100 years, 85% are women. According to Living to 100.com, one reason is the delay in women having heart disease and stroke. Men get this disease as early as 50 to 60 years of age. However, i find it very illogical in this explanation. My reasons are as follows:

Age difference

In a family, the husband will die before the wife. In this case the wife is much younger than her late husband. Man likes women who are younger. Younger women mostly look supple and pretty. The general age gap between a man and a woman is usually 6 to 7 years. I married my wife at a supple age when she was 20.

Naturally, the guy kicks the bucket before the girls!!

Woman entry to workforce

Woman entry to the workforce in most countries came in much later than man. This is because of man’s role as a provider. Because of this natural cultural limitation, woman leads a less stressful life. Even working mother, has the comfort of belief that a man should provide her.

Woman work less man hours

Because of the natural chemical body system in a woman, she needs more rest than man. During mensuration, labor and child birth, woman takes more “offs” from work than man. In this period her stress of work will be totally taken. Whereas the guys are glued to their work. Their stress level aggravates if there is no solution and this might trigger heart disease and stroke.

Women are careful

With natural prudence, a woman does not take much risk than man. The risk factor also triggers positive chemical reaction to her body system. For example, women need 4 more lessons to pass their driving tests than men. It is not about confidence but more to being prudence and not taking decisions at the right time. No risk no pain!

Women are comforted

Woman easily gets a comfort “touch” from their counterpart. This is because of their vulnerable presence and countenance. Most clandestine affairs between man and woman start from this pitiful feeling towards the woman. As she gets comforted, her life becomes less stressful and healthier.

Women live within their means

Women do not need a credit card. Even if she has one, it must have been a supplement card from her husband. If she overspends, her husband will take care of it. This supportive arrangement makes her to get everything in life easier without a hitch. Life is too good to her to let her go into the dark chamber before guys!

Woman gets positive feedback

Woman always lives in hope. Man lives always in uncertainty. She makes herself attractive and gets the attraction of others beyond her family circles. She is sought after. This positive outlook in her circles naturally makes her want to live more and more. There is no “internal sabotage” towards life.
