Contemplate And Actify On The Brighter Side Of Life
Look on the brighter side of anything. Yes I always take this course of action. It has to be in your nature to take the positive note. Have you heard a story of two customers who visited a fruit stall and seeing the bunch of glossy grapes which is apparently dipped in water? The two comments as follows:
One customer said to the other ‘the fruit seller is cheating as he can sell more grapes as water over it makes it heavier’. The other customer took on the positive note, “No he is making it look appealing to customers”. Both can be right. Creative thinking starts from thinking positively: to see on the bright side of things.
Happiness Purpose
How many of us feel happy with our body and structure? If you are short in structure you envy the person who is taller. If you have a receding hair you might want to implant synthetic hair as you feel inferior. I am not saying that it is wrong to improve your appearance but you have to know that no one is pre occupied by your appearance. Every one is thinking about themselves. Human beings are innately selfish.
By attaching your self to the brighter side of your self, you need not be too anxious about your ‘self’. Look at the inside of you. Caring, sympathetic, compassionate, generous, charitable, collected, and humble some of the good inner self can give you happiness and satisfaction.
Start Living
Do not dwell on what you do not have or lost. Use what you have and move on. And when you move on ensure you land on a level that you have aspired for. The odds are against this young man who looks like African descend, has a Muslim name in the middle, and a whole bunch of problems ahead of his advent. Yes this is the charismatic Mr Barack Hussein Obama II who became the 44 President of the United States of America. With his winning he said “the road ahead will be long, our climb will be steep. We may not get there in one year or even one term, but America: I have never been more hopeful than I am tonight that we will get there. I promise you, as we as a people will get there.”
The sun is a dying star and no one weeps about its death. But everyday we enjoy its glory and daylight. We live through its death
Make Your Own Destiny
It is much needed to learn from others success stories. But, if you do not pick out the right steps and use them the case study becomes futile. To map out your own success has to become your first priority. Most successful people have one thing in common: that is a vision or goal set out. Every hour each step is taken to reach that goal. Alternative path is drawn if something goes wrong. But ultimately, the imaginary destination is drawn to the set out goal or goals. There are many reasons for making out a goal. But the most important right now is to bring in your own success and be optimistic about it. Use determination and expectation to move on towards your goal.
Gratitude
Being thankful of what you are positively enrich your mind and soul. Try this exercise. If you think you envy a person with much wealth than you – ask what his or her worries are. He or she might give you a list. And in that list you will find that you have a couple of things that he or she yearns to have. For example, if your friend has a permissive spouse, you can be ‘blessed’ with a loving virtuous spouse. Your friend might want to learn poetry but you are very good at it. Look at those who are given less than you. You have beautiful children who obey you rather than a child with good academic grades and are rebellious.
For the Good
Always think that anything happening to your life is happening for the good. This kind of thinking helps you to become less emotional. It was in the year 1962 when I was a year old my father met an accident and died on the spot. 47 years have passed and though it happened when I was not so conscious (baby) it brings me misery when I remember my father. When Rabbi Harold Kushner wrote his book “When Bad Things Happen to Good People”, he was writing out of experience.
