Comply With World Wide Web Consortium Standard

When you set up a blog the likely chance of not being validated by W3C is high. Why i say this is because the benefit of a validated blog is not known by bloggers like you and me. The second reason is that they are too lethargic to correct the errors identified. They are more concern with updating content and expecting traffic to follow their site by other means of optimization. I yearned for my blog to be validated when i was in blogspot, but my efforts did not meet my objective.

I got an enquiry of how to live a happier life. My answer is simple : do not love the thing that the majority love and if you do you will be happier and be loved by many people. This answer made the questioner enlightened as i had solved his immediate problem of getting contention and therby happiness. If i can change someone state in a moment just by answering his question why not try the rest of the world and who knows i might be making that someone out there happy and satisfied with life by reading my articles in proenrichment.com. My site is still in its infancy and my only objetive now is to generate quality contents as many as possible. But i am worried about my pages being validated on each post i make.

This preoccupation of making my site ‘validation OK’ by W3C standard has made me to drift away from blogspot to wordpress. I registered my own domain name and got my proenrichment.com started in wordpress. I want my blog to move to the top so that readers may find it, and be able to use my ideas to experience the life they always wanted. Happy, satisfied and enriched life.

If you are a beginner in blogging listen to this advice – get your site validated by W3C standard even before your write out the first post. If your priority is to bring your blog to many people as possible then is conditional that you conform to W3C.

World Wide Web Consortium or W3C for short-recognized the danger that Hyper Text Markup Language or html could become fragmented as web browsers had been fighting their own versions of html. W3C therefore, acted to form a standard to which all web browsers should adhere.

Why do you need to comply with W3C standards?

If your site has conformed to the standard of W3C the crawlers from major search engines like google, yahoo and msn will be able to pervade easily and smoothly. By this, your pages get indexed quickly with ease. The result is that your site will be found in the front pages of major search engines.

When that happens and if a search is done by users of internet they will be able to find your pages in an instant. In this manner traffic is acquired easily. Many bloggers whom have written something about W3C standard have disregard it and say that it is not an essential tool in optimizing your site. To them the factor for optimization is by keywords. I agree with them but if to disregard W3C standard your site may never appear in the front pages of google, yahoo or msn and will miss out probable traffic hits even your site is well equipped with popular keywords.

Apart from crawlers gaining access for html validated sites, users can browse to your site with different devices – personal computer, laptops, PDAs, cellular phones and so on. More people can find your blog.

Indexing of pages is the result of various optimization methods of bringing your blog higher in search engines front pages. Before you focus on content and keywords, the first thing tio do in blogging is to validate your site by W3C standards.

Page Rank and W3C

Many of the top websites or blogs have high page rank but they have compromised compliance of W3C. Crooked Timber, Ghost of a flea, You tube and Wired.Com are some example of high rank blogs. Wired.Com has a page rank of 9 but when checked with W3C its html is dirty.

A high page ranked blog can be attributed to other high page ranked blogs linked to it. In other words, the blog in subject has reference to be cited by other blogs. More links means high page rank. High traffic blogs like Problogger (as evidenced by high readership) who teaches  bloggers to make money has also not touched on how to make a blog W3C compliant. See here its validation fate.

The trend is not for W3C. It is because the priority of making a blog is to make money out of the traffic that drops by. If you claim a professional blogger it is high time you make your blog a professional facelift by cleaning those html and comply with world wide web consortium standard. :)

Complying with World Wide Web Consortium is the greatest task for bloggers – a challenge worth a try…proenrichment.com
